The Monstrum Blackbird 1.5x Prism Scope has a fixed 1.5x magnification and is a prism scope optic.
The Blackbird G3 is now equipped with Shake Awake motion sensing technology. When the illumination is activated, shake awake mode turns on - the dot will shut off after ten minutes and re-activate instantly when there is movement.
Has comparable functionality to red dot sights for quick short range target acquisition, but utilizes a glass prism optical system with an illuminating circle dot reticle instead of traditional red dot sights' projected laser dots.
Prism scope reticles are etched in glass, causing less distortion than red dots and are easier for the eye to focus on, particularly for shooters with astigmatism.
Monstrum's lifetime warranty covers the Blackbird 1.5x prism scope.
