The Monstrum Blackbird 1.5x Prism Scope has a fixed 1.5x magnification and is a prism scope optic.
The Blackbird G3 now has Shake Awake motion sensing technology. When the illumination is activated, shake awake mode turns on. The dot will turn off automatically after ten minutes and instantly reactivate when there is movement.
It offers similar functionality as red dot sights for quickly acquiring targets at short range. However, it uses a glass prism optical system instead of laser dots like traditional red dot sights. The glass prism system has an illuminating circle dot reticle.
Prism scope reticles are etched in glass, providing less distortion compared to red dots. They are also easier for the eye to focus on, especially for shooters who have astigmatism.
The Blackbird 1.5x prism scope is protected by Monstrum's lifetime warranty.
